Obituary of Elwood H. Slimm, Sr.

Elwood H. "Woody" Slimm, Sr., age 78yrs., of W. Berlin, NJ passed away on May 9, 2018. Beloved companion of Elizabeth "Betsy" Simpson. Loving father of Elwood H. Slimm, Jr., Timothy Simpson, Kelly Aileen Garcia, Kristy Shimrak, Jamie Slimm and Amy Simpson. Dear brother of Charles Slimm, Payne (Sandy) Slimm and the Late Walter Curtis Slimm, Jr. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Elwood was the former owner of The Patio and later the Conestoga Restaurant in Atco. He also was the owner of Elwood H. Slimm Roofing and Siding Company. He was a member of the Berlin Rotary Club, enjoyed gardening but will be remembered as being a family man. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday May 12th from 2:30pm to 3:30pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ.
