Beth Ann Whelan-Liggett posted a condolence
Tony was a man of few words, butI will always remember him coming to Sunday dinner and doing the crossword puzzle and the cryptogram. Tony will hold a special place in my heart as my first Brother-in Law and the father to my dear nephew Tosh. I am so sorry for such as great loss as a brother, father and grandfather, I will remember him fondly and keep your family in my prayers. Sincerely Beth Ann Whelan-Liggett

Tony I will never forget the good times we had together when we were growing up at your house for the summers. Kathy and I really enjoyed the time at your house with all your sisters, we talk about it all the time, and what great cooks all of you are. I also enjoyed the trip I made last year and met Bon Bon. Bon you were all Tony talked about and it made me feel good for how happy he was. We will miss him and we feel bad that we didn't get to see him one more time. God bless you Tony.

Tony:
I have enjoyed your peaceful and pleasant company at concerts, parties and family gatherings. Your children and granddaughter will greatly miss your supportive, persistent and, most of all, loving presence in their lives but the immeasurable benefit that you have bestowed upon them during your time will endure to console and enrich them.
We will all miss you and think about you always in the days to come and you will continue to live through your beautiful children, Tosh & Lisa, and your other lovely shining star, your granddaughter, Lexi. You have accomplished much but you always obviously placed them above else.

With sorrow that I sit here now to write this for you. To a classmate from Edgewood who I did not see for 40 years until the "reunion" 1 1/2 years ago. I saw a happieness in you with your partner, Bon Bon. I am sorry that we did not follow through on plans to get together. We are both so truely sad about this

I was shocked when I came across this notice. I was actually searching for Daria (Dottie) and Donna. I'm so sad. I remember Tony as a wonderful big brother and Vera as a teenager I looked up to. Tony was a good person and when growing up on Atco Ave the Kapij family was well respected. Mrs Kapij made wonderful perogies and stuffed cabbage. Mr Kapij made great wine and a home made swimming pool. I pray for the family because he is a great loss. Love, Cindy Hann
