Hi Daddy,
You are only away a few hours and how much I miss you. I watched you sleep long nights and remembered every moment spent with you then and now. I know you knew I was there holding your hand because you held mine back. When I asked you to kiss me you kissed me back. Those were gifts you gave me. Peace in my life came when I spent THIS time with you. Another gift,I never knew I'd find.
I hope you were as proud of me as I was to be your daughter.

The desert fathers say it most clearly. "Weep, there is no other way" Our tears are the water of baptism. Our tears are the water from a mother's womb that signals new life. Out tears are the spit Jesus rubs in people's eyes to cure blindness. They come from the water table of the earth. I have been told that tears are a gift from the Holy Spirit. They are a charism as valued as speaking in tongues or prophecy or healing. Wep, there is no other way. And here's the good news: love brings life out of death. If we are willing to go to the cross and not run away to the tomb, then love brings forth resurrected life. Love will keep Lewis with us, love will wipe away our tears. My prayers are with you now and always will be.

I did not Mr. Simoni personally, but I have heard about him and the family through Reeny. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. It's never easy losing a loved one. But the memories that you have shared will last a life time. He will be your angel, and watch over you every step that you take. Reeny, I am here for you if you need me. I am glad that God brought you into my life, and I am happy to call you my friend.

Thank you, Pop-Pop, for all the great times and memories. You are the only person in my life who could ever make me laugh up a storm. I'll always miss your wit and great sense of humor. In this dark world today, who will brighten up my day like you have? I'll miss those great times together we had at Berlin Market, on vacation in Las Vegas and even at the dinner table. I met Mr Simoni several times and he was always in good humor and a complete gentleman. Mr and Mrs Simoni welcomed me into their home and made me feel completely at ease.
To Mrs Simoni, who I love dearly, I send my deepest condolences. Mr Simoni may be gone but he will not be forgoten. His pain is now gone and he is at peace.
On Februray 2, 2011 heaven became a better place with Mr Simoni's arrival. May you rest in peace and your family find solace that you are now in a better place.

Dear Simoni family Louis always gave back from all the time we spent together. He gave from his heart to family and friends. When visiting with Louis he reached for my hand, held it and showed the strenth from with in him and would not give up that strenth of life.
