Karen, I am very sorry. That was a wonderful obituary. It captured the true essence of Joan!
Joan was a wonderful woman and I will never forget her. She had a witty sense of humor, a warm compassionate side and her Scottish brogue always made me smile...when I could understand it! I know she thought of you as not only her daughter but her best friend as well.
She may be gone physically, but take it from one who has been in your shoes....she will live on inside of you and Ethan. If you remember nothing else, try to remember that your mom would not want you to mourn her passing...she would want you to celebrate her life...as no parent wants their child to wallow in sadness. Again, I am very sorry.
