I attended St. Lawrence School and Paul VI with Steve. We lived in Laurel Springs for most of our schooling. He and Carolyn met, I believe, at Paul Vi, and they were inseparable ever after. You could just tell that they had met their respective soulmates, even as young as we all were. I am so happy to know that their love for each other prevailed. I was pretty much a loner back then, fairly quiet and shy. But I considered Steve and Carolyn among my closest classmates and friends. We went our separate ways after high school, as things like that happen sometimes. I am shocked and saddened to just now discover Steve's passing. My heart goes out to Carolyn and their family. Life is a mystery: not everyone gets to experience the full ride. And then there's that line about: "Only the good die young." Rest in Peace my friend. Paul

I knew Steve only through work, but I knew him well enough to think very highly of him. I often think of a time he took the trouble to do me a favor -- and he did it cheerfully. My sympathies.

My prayers are with Steven's family. He was a wonderful person with a beautiful soul. I knew him almost all of his life. There are so many wonderful qualities in Steve, including loving husband, father & grandfather. A warm and kind person who never said a anything bad about anyone.
May you rest in peace with God Steve.

I have nothing but good times and fond memories of Steve. I am very sad and sorry I didn’t make it over to see him last time I was up in Philly. We always think we are too busy and next time we are in the area we will stop by. Sometime like this one next time may be too late. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone. It was great reconnecting with Steve through messages and picture. He was a great help with family picture and sharing memories. I have nothing but love and respect for him. Please if there is anything I can do do not hesitate to ask.
With love and respect.
