Obituary of Steven Traenkner

Steven Traenkner, age 65, of Sicklerville, NJ passed away suddenly on Friday December 21, 2018.  Beloved husband and best friend of Carolyn Traenkner (nee Branca).  Loving father of Steven (Melissa) Traenkner and Andrew Traenkner.  Proud grandfather of Quint and Charlotte.  Dear brother of David, James, John, Michael, Robert and the late Dennis Traenkner.

Steven grew up in Laurel Springs, NJ and has resided in Sicklerville since 1976.  He worked as a property manager for the Diocese of Camden for 11 years and went on to work at Our Lady of Hope Parish in Blackwood for about 5 years.  Steven was an avid Philadelphia Flyers fan.  He enjoyed working and tinkering around his house, and he loved his grandchildren and spending time with them.

Viewing will be held on Friday December 28, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:45 am at Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ, where a funeral mass will begin at 12:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steven’s memory to Veteran’s Haven, PO Box 80, 301 Spring Garden Rd., Winslow, NJ 08095-0080.  Condolences may be shared at www.lpwoosterfuneralhome.com
