Poppy, you died on the first day of spring, the day that symbolizes new life. There is no doubt that you have a new life in heaven with God. We miss you and love you and will always remember everything you taught us about life, honesty, hard work, and "being good and staying out of trouble." We will remember you forever.

As I light this candle I hold memories of the kind, quiet, gentle and caring man you are.
I am so saddened by your passing. Yet, your memory lives on through your children. Your daughter Tish has that same thoughtful, kind and honest way of living, which she learned from you. What a wonderful gift your life has been.
With care,
Audrey

Linda posted a condolence
Dad,
You spoke few words but rather taught us by your actions. You made it easy to follow your lead. To watch the commitment you had of taking care of Mom when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and began to deteriorate showed the world the kind of person you were. Your sacrifices for Mom and the four of us were endless and showed the true meaning of being unselfish. I will continue to use the many lessons I have learned from you in my daily life. I consider myself fortunate to be Daughter Number 2.
You already are missed!
Love,
Linda

Your Dad, Tish, was one of the nicest men I knew. He was a devoted husband right up to the end. He beamed when he spoke of his family. He was a hard worker, respected church member, and had more friends than most. You were so very fortunate to have him in your life for so long. He and you and your family, will be in my prayers at this sad time.

Frank (Franny) Gargani posted a condolence
Dear Uncle Fred, You and Aunt Frances are in my prayers. You are a great being, a great man, a member of the greatest generation of Americans. I'm sure you have an honored place in Heaven. I'm happy that I had the pleasure of talking with you recently. And I thank you for giving I one of the most important opportunities of my life. You helped and guided me for 10 years (13 to 23) of my life. What I learned in the ditches and crawl spaces of the construction sites, I have used throughout my life. I learned to work hard and that I can take on any challenge. I have never forgotten the experience of looking up at the beautiful sky from the bottom of a ditch. From now on when I look up at that beautiful sky I'll give a little thought to you. Have a great time in your new adventure. Thanks Again!! Your grateful nephew, Franny

Uncle Fred and Family; I apologize for the long delay in sending you my condolences, and indeed for not being able to attend your services. Although it has been many years since I have seen any of you, my memories of my Uncle Fred remain vivid, strong and good ones. His humor and his industry were inspirations to everyone he met. I am certain that he and my father together are checking out the construction of Heaven, and discussing how they can improve it. Be well.
