Obituary of Frederick F. Venuti

Frederick F. Venuti, age 92yrs. of Atco, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Mr. Venuti was born in Philadelphia, PA and had been a longtime Atco resident. Fred was a very active parishioner of the Assumption Church in Atco. He worked hard to earn the title of Master Plumber and Plumbing Inspector, First Class, a job he performed until he was 87 years young. Mr. Venuti proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII stationed aboard the USS Burns (DD 588). Fred was blessed with a special talent and produced many stained glass creations. Mr. Venuti is the beloved husband of 66 years to Frances M. (nee Pirolli) He is the devoted father of Carol A. Agia (Gary) of Collingswood, NJ; Linda V. Diekmann (Dale) of Parkland, FL; Marianne V. Malcom (Stephen) of Atco, NJ and Tish V. Schuman (Larry) of Marlton, NJ. Cherished Grandfather of Leigh Ryan (Jason), LTjg. Luke Schuman (Ashley), Scott Diekmann, Tim Diekmann, Julie Hafeez (Harris), David Agia, Stephanie Malcom, Christopher Malcom and Melissa Malcom. Great Pop-Pop of Brooklyn Schuman, Ava Schuman, Brixon Ryan and Lively Ryan. He is the loving brother of Margaret Gargani (the late Anthony) of FL, Jean DiGiambattista (the late Joseph) of Phila, Marie DiOrio (Louis) of Sewell, NJ, the late Michael Venuti,, the late Francis Venuti and the late Joseph Venuti. He is the brother in law of Blanche, Rose, Barbara & Tony Chalk, Dorothy & Augustine Pirolli, Gloria Pirolli and Yvonne Pirolli. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday evening after 7:00pm and again on Saturday morning, 9:00 to 9:45am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ (856)767-0539. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am at Christ the Redeemer Parish/Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco. Fr. Thomas Barcellona, officiating. Interment and military tribute will follow at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ. Mr. Venuti was very loyal and very dedicated to his church. His family would like to have his dedication to the Assumption Church to continue. Please, in lieu of flowers, donations to the "Frederick F. Venuti Memorial Fund" c/o the funeral home would be greatly appreciated. The money that is collected will be used for the development of a memorial on the church property.
