Obituary of Bernard Francis Corrigan, II
Bernard F. “Barney” Corrigan, II, age 62, of Sicklerville, NJ, passed away suddenly on Thursday November 14, 2019.
Beloved husband of Sara Corrigan (nee Arnold). Loving father of Barney (Bernadette) Corrigan, Rochelle Pence, Meghan Bertucci, Drew (Aileen) Corrigan, Jocelyn Zaveckas, and Evan Corrigan. Proud grandfather of Brandon, Emily, Caden, Joleigh, Jayden, Dominick, Olivia, McKenzie, Jackson, Anthony, Greg, and Kaitlyn; great-grandfather of Kian. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his siblings Jay Luxion, Lori McPeak, and Linda Foy, as well as his best friend Bryan Warsing.
Barney was born in Drexel Hill, PA and had been a longtime resident of Sicklerville, NJ. He was a member of Sicklerville United Methodist Church. An active member of the Winslow Township community, Barney had served with the HSA, Citizens Advisory Committee and the Winslow Municipal Drug Alliance.
In his free time, Barney could often be found riding the Flow Rider at Sahara Sam’s and attending Flow Rider competitions all over the country. He enjoyed traveling with his family and also enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was hiking, fishing, or sailing, as well as having a pint of his favorite craft beers at many of the area breweries. He was also a die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan from the days of the 700 level in Veteran's Stadium. Barney greatest love was his children and grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday November 20, 2019 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Sicklerville United Methodist Church, 406 Church Rd., Sicklerville, NJ. A memorial service will begin at 7:30 pm in the church. Coffee and desserts will be served after the service in the church annex. To honor Barney's life, visitors are welcome to wear Winslow/Edgewood or Philadelphia Eagles apparel to the services.
