Our deepest sympathy for a man I got to know while the garage addition was put on his sons house, Al. He would sit out there in his folding chair inspecting and managing the construction of the addition but also holding court.
He told me stories of the days when Hoffa was in charge of the Union (and where he thought he was buried) and also his brief relationship with Ed Herr and the opportunity he missed.
He was a delightful storyteller to me and I enjoyed talking with him.
Our thoughts go out to our dear friends Al, Marie, Alfonse and Robert and the extended family.
