Dear Candy,
We, the family of Judge Porter, wish to express our condolences and lift up prayers for you and your husband, George, for the loss of your mother, Frances. We shared this journey as care givers for our parents especially because of the deep love and devotion that we have for them. I especially remember fond memories with Fran. Since my middle name is Frances, we both share the same name We both enjoyed a loving relationship with my cousin and her husband, Bobby. When Bobby and I collaborated and/or shared our gift of music in Fran we had a supportive soul. There were times that she would give me a listening, supportive ear to some of my dreams and goals for my musical career when Bobby and she lived on Wayne Avenue. Both my deceased brother, John, and Fran worked for the post office in Orange and East Orange. Also our family had a bond through belonging to the chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star , Masons, and the Shriners. Daddy, Bobby, Aunt Florence, George, Mom and you all are/were active members. Last but not least I know that my Mom, Lewvenia Porter, appreciated the loving gesture of sending her beautiful birthday bouquets when she lived here in Georgia with me. All of these fond memories serve to remind us of her character as a woman. In the name of our Savior and Lord we send these words of comfort to the family of Frances Porter.
Respectfully submitted,
Kay F Porter
