Obituary of Della Ricca

Della Ricca (nee Tomassone), age 90 of Hammonton, passed away on Friday May 18, 2012 at Atlanticare Medical center in Galloway. Mrs. Ricca was born in Atco and had been a longtime resident of Hammonton. She was a homemaker all of her married years and was deeply rooted in her faith. Della enjoyed bowling and bingo and had been a active Parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Hammonton where she was a member of the St. Rita Society. Mrs. Ricca is the widow of her late husband Anthony "Nein" Ricca. She is the mother of Joseph Ricca of Hammonton and Lucille & her husband Glenn McCaughey of Sarasota, FL. Della is the proud grandmother of Joseph Ricca, Jr. (Debbie), Krista Ricca, Melissa McCaughey, Danielle (Nic) Morganti, Jonathan (Jessica) McCaughey, Michael (Joyia) McCaughey, Christine (Steven) Giummo, Stephanie McCaughey and great grandmother of Caleb, Hunter, Isabella, Jacob, Sophia and Colt. Relatives and friends are invited to Mrs. Ricca's viewing on Tuesday evening May 22, 2012 between 7 and 9 pm and on Wednesday morning May 23, 2012 between 11am and 12pm at the Funeral Home. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Joseph's Church 222 N. 3rd St. Hammonton. Interment will follow at Green Mount Cemetery, Hammonton.
